Defibrillators, also called AEDs (Automatic External Defibrillators), or PADs (Public Access Defibrillators), or MIKEYs, are very easy to use. They have audible prompts that walk you through everything you need to know. We have found however, that the more familiar people are with how these amazing devices work, the more likely it is that they will be used in an emergency.
In this course you will learn about MIKEY AEDs and how to use them. There are three videos, and a quiz after each of them. To earn your completion certificate, every question on the quiz needs to be answered correctly.
